New Proposed Club Constitution

The Incorporated Society Act 2022 requires all clubs, who are registered as an Incorporated Society to review and amend their current constitution before 5 April 2026 to ensure it complies with the newly introduced Act. The Invercargill Rowing Club management committee have completed this review and amended its consititution using the template provided by Rowing New Zealand. It is now available as a draft download for all members, parents and guardians to view and make comments back to the club committee if they wish to. It is proposed to hold a Special Members Meeting at 6.00pm on Thursday the 29th of January 2026 to discuss, amend if necessary and adopt the new club constitution.
