* The Challenge Coin has originally come from the military and has expanded into a wide range of agencies and groups. The idea behind a coin is to bond together the group with a common item, In this case its the coin. Any time any number of the group meets together someone can produce their coin with an expectation that the others in the group will also produce theirs and if not certain rules or consequences apply. For example : If the group meets at a bar for a drink, the challenge is made when someone puts their coin on the bar, whoever doesn’t or can’t put their coin on the bar too, pays for the round of drinks. If all coins are presented the one who laid the challenge down with the first coin buys the round.
