Coastal Rowing - Beach Sprints Success

New opportunities abound for Kristen Froude, from the beginnings of racing on the Oreti River in traditional rowing skiffs and then advancing into coastal rowing with the NZ team to Italy's Barletta Beach, to bring home a bronze medal in the World Rowing Beach Sprints Finals. She was joined in the boat by our clubs honarary life member Joseph Sullivan, who won a gold medal rowing, with Nalan Cohen in the 2012 Olympics.
